Post-COVID Inner Self Restoration via Expressive Therapy Methods

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a great deal of uncertainty amongst people about their future. But what is more, it definitely influenced their mental health and well-beeing causing anxiety, fear and incapability of foreseeing and structuring their daily routes and plans.

The aim of this workshop is to give people the chance to restart their lives after the lockdown taking concrete steps to change the way they feel, to stimulate their inner strengths and the potential and goodness of their minds.

Participants will be involved in an exciting inner self journey by means of phototherapy techniques and sound drama.

Participants will receive a link to the ZOOM meeting the day before the workshop.

Participants are expected to send to the organizers, max 3 days before the workshop, a photo they either took or found on the Internet depicting how they sense this pandemic situation.

Payment: Regular – 60 EUR, Students – 45 EUR

Prof. Afroditi Papaioannou-Spiroulia – Professor-Researcher in Cognitive-Clinical Psychology, Systematic-Family Therapist, MarteMeo Trainer and Special Supervisor in issues revolving Systematic-Multicultural Communication. For two decades she has worked in private and public education as a Head, Professor, Mentor, Program Developer and Program Director of Psychology and Multi-Cultural Education. She is a founding member and Head of research of the research centers ‘Ψυχονησίδα’ and ‘ΚυΨέλη’ that cover a broad area of research in Clinical and Cognitive Psychology. Head of Psychology Department at the SCG-Scientific College of Greece.

Lydia Yordanova – MSc in Applied Psychology, Psychodrama therapist and educator, the founder and the director of ZS CONSULT Educational, Counselling and Training Centre, Varna, Bulgaria, member of ASGPP, the President of the Balkan Association in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy/BAPSGPT/. She has been working with individuals and groups of adults and children since 2007.
