Sound Drama – A New Approach to Coping with Anxiety and Uncertainty in Times of Crisis

3-hour online workshop on ZOOM

Presenter: Lydia Yordanova – MA in Applied Psychology, Psychodrama Therapist

Sound Drama-Another Approach to Coping with Anxiety…

Sounds of nature have a restorative effect on our psyche. They not only physically alter the connections in our brains, reducing our body’s natural fight-or-flight instinct, but cause deep impact on our emotions, mind and well-being. The use of sounds of nature in psychodrama sessions is a new approach, created by the presenter and called “sound drama”. In this workshop participants will be able to get acquainted with the ideas of using sounds of nature in individual and group psychodrama work for coping with anxiety and uncertainty during the difficult times we are living in. A couple of specific sound drama techniques will be presented.
